How To Recognize The Coming Of The Kingdom
With the approach of the third millennium, people are beginning to anticipate the end of the world as we know it and the coming of the kingdom of God. They do not know what the kingdom of heaven on earth will look like, but they seem to believe that they will recognize it when they see. The first sign they are told will be Jesus emerging from the clouds. All they will have to do is look up and see this miraculous sight.
The prevalent belief is in direct opposition to what Jesus said. His revelation was that the kingdom of heaven was at hand; it is within our grasp. (Mt. 4:17). In other words, the kingdom that we seek is here now, and yet we look around and do not see it. Instead, we see war and famine, abuse and children warring upon other children.

Where is this kingdom that is suppose to be here?
Here is the great truth revealed by Jesus about the coming of the kingdom that has been ignored by humankind. "Unless one is born anew, he cannot see the kingdom of God" (John 3:3). The kingdom is here. It has always been here, but we must be in a spiritual state of consciousness before we can see it. This requires that we be born anew or that we awaken spiritually. This is why over the course of the last months we have given our attention to spiritual birth. It is for this reason that Jesus came and for this reason that Inner Journey exists' to help with the spiritual awakening of the human family. Then we will see the wonder and beauty that has been prepared for us!
